Church Outdoor Worship & BBQ Picnic (Sun, July 6)

DATE:  THIS SUNDAY, JULY 6th

VENUE:

• WILKET CREEK PARK (1132 LESLIE ST. @ NW corner of Eglinton & Leslie)
  • PICNIC AREA #2 (closest to entrance, left turn at the flag pole)
  • ARRIVE EARLY FOR PARKING & SET-UP!!!
  • 10:00 AM
    • Unfortunately, parking lots are far from the picnic site
    • You’ll have to park at the end of the road under the bridge (under Eglinton Ave)
    • OR Serena Gundy Park parking lot, right turn at the flag pole to the washrooms over the mini bridge
    • please drive safely, many pedestrians, cyclists, joggers, hikers, … at the park.

• Portable BBQ grills are needed.

VOLUNTEERS

• • ***valet parking attendants
  • since parking lots are far from our site, we need volunteers on standby to help people unload their stuff upon arrival.

WHAT TO BRING?

• • sun protection (hats, sunscreen, umbrella, canopies, tents, tarp, …)
  • lawn chairs (we’re short on picnic tables), mats, blankets
  • sporting stuff (volleyball, frisbee, etc.).  No batting allowed. 
  • ***your 4-legged friends are welcome to join us, as long they’re under leash (poop & scoop).
